If you attack an enemy while sneaking and you have the NOVICE skill unlock (20 points in Sneak) you’ll perform a Sneak Attack, dealing extra damage against enemies. If at any point before you’re fully detected you get out of an enemy’s sight their detection meters will start to deplete at a pace depending upon your investment in the Sneak skill.
